It’s just about seven minutes from Winnfield Dunn Parkway, so you’ll feel tucked away in nature without being far from the action. It’s that sweet spot between “off the beaten path” and “close to the fun.”
Getting here couldn’t have been easier. The hosts provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and there’s free parking right beside the cabin—a huge plus when you’re lugging luggage or groceries. Check-in was a breeze, too, thanks to a keyless entry code, so there was no need to coordinate meeting the host. We pulled up, unpacked, and were relaxing on the porch within minutes.
From the moment you walk in, this cabin strikes the perfect balance between rustic design and modern comfort. The decor is cozy and cabin-chic—think warm wood tones, log furniture, and soft lighting that makes the entire space feel welcoming.
The living area is large and open, with a comfy couch and gas-log fireplace that’s ideal for curling up on cool mountain nights. A large flat-screen HDTV hangs above the mantle, and every room has its own smart TV and Wi-Fi, so everyone can stream their favorite shows (or quietly scroll Instagram in peace).
The kitchen is fully stocked and genuinely easy to cook in—equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven, range, dishwasher, and small appliances like a Keurig coffee maker and Vitamix blender. There’s plenty of cookware, utensils, and even some thoughtful extras, so if you’d rather stay in for dinner, it’s set up for that. There’s also a washer and dryer, which is great for longer stays or families traveling with kids.
The cabin sleeps a crowd but still feels cozy. The two main bedrooms both feature king-size beds with soft linens, private bathrooms, and TVs—ideal for couples or parents who appreciate their own retreat.

This cabin makes an excellent home base for exploring Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, and it’s close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg too. If your trip is mostly centered around Sevierville’s attractions—like the Apple Barn, The Appalachian, or the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster—you’ll love this location.
If you’re planning to spend several days in Gatlinburg, you might prefer to stay closer to town, but for a mix of peace, convenience, and value, this cabin is hard to beat. For a shorter Smoky Mountain getaway (three to four days), it’s absolutely ideal.
This cabin checked every box: it was huge, clean, modern, and comfortable, yet full of rustic character. It’s the kind of place where you can play games upstairs, relax in the hammock, or roast marshmallows under the stars—and still be minutes from shopping, dining, and attractions.

Osteria Stella in Knoxville is THE date night spot, pink door, moody lighting, and a radiatori con broccoli pesto that I would genuinely go back for alone. The lasagna comes out as its own perfect slice with crispy edges all around. The focaccia with garlic confit disappeared before anyone admitted to eating it.

I walked down what looked like a regular hillside entrance and came out into a room that could almost fit a football stadium. 🪨 Tuckaleechee Caverns is the highest-rated cavern in the Eastern US and until you’re standing inside it, that’s just a fact. When you’re actually there, it feels earned.
Stalagmites 24 feet tall. A 210-foot underground waterfall. Formations that took 20 to 30 million years to build. A family that still runs the whole thing.
Bring a jacket. Wear good shoes. Don’t Google how it was discovered before you go hearing it on the tour is so much better.
