There are a lot of activities on Virgin, but this Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages list is the stuff I actually look forward to doing again. Some activities are fine. Some are fun in the moment. And then there are the repeat-worthy ones.
After sailing Virgin Voyages multiple times, these are the activities I prioritize — the ones that feel fun, social, a little elevated, and very “this is why I book this cruise.”
If you’re still planning your trip, start with my full guide to Virgin Voyages Cruise Tips & Tricks: Ultimate Guide Before You Sail so you know how reservations, dining, and booking windows work before you step onboard. It makes a difference.
And if you haven’t booked yet, I usually check booking.com to get the best price. If you’re flying in, I also compare prices on Skyscanner to keep flights simple and affordable. Starting calm makes everything else more fun.
Now let’s talk about the good stuff.

As soon as muster is done, don't go back to your cabin!
Go to the pool deck.
The Sail Away Party is how the trip officially starts. Free bubbles (if you drink) get passed around, there’s a big toast, the DJ is going, and suddenly everyone is in full vacation mode.
It’s super fun. The energy is good. I never skip it.
You’ll start recognizing people all week — it’s kind of the moment the ship starts to feel smaller in a good way. This is one of the Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages because it sets the tone immediately.

Yes, you’re wearing pajamas. In public. At a party.
And yes, it’s super fun.
It’s wild but in an exciting way — lights, music, people dancing. Some show up in full glam silk sets. Others wear comfy shorts. And then there are the brave ones in full onesies.
No one cares what you’re wearing. That’s the beauty of it.
Even if you only stay for a bit, you’ll be glad you went. It’s low-pressure, high-energy, and very Virgin. Definitely one of the Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages if you like a fun night without overthinking it.

If you want a little European classiness at sea and some delicious bites, this is the activity for you.
It’s not stuffy. It’s not pinky-up mandatory. It’s more like: sit down, relax, eat beautiful snacks.
And if there are scones, I’m interested.
The cheddar scone with airy butter? Incredible. The sweet scone with jam? I would happily eat that again. The snack tower is creative and fun — little desserts, savory bites, things you wouldn’t normally order.
It’s a super fun activity, especially on a sea day when you want something that feels a little elevated but still relaxed.
If you’re planning a sea day schedule, see my full breakdown in Sea Day On Virgin Voyages: What To Do, Where To Eat, And How To Enjoy It. Pair this with late brunch and you’ve basically built a perfect carb-forward afternoon. Balance.

This is kind of a hidden gem at the back of the boat.
Greek-inspired mezze. Small plates. Pita. Dips.
You wander in, grab something, sit down, maybe order a drink, maybe don’t.
Opa Hour runs from 3:30–5:30, but you can stop in anytime and get the amazing pomegranate walnut dip or the incredible watermelon mint feta salad.
No reservations. No schedule. Just good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s one of the quieter Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages, especially if you want a break from pool deck energy without hiding in your cabin.

If you're like me and live in your PJs on the weekend at home, this is one of those things that makes you feel special and makes your vacation feel exciting.
Before big party nights, you can get glitter, gems, or makeup added to your look. It takes five minutes and somehow makes the whole night more fun.
It’s playful. A little extra. Very Virgin.
Highly recommend before Scarlet Night.

Scarlet Night is the night.
Everyone wears red. The energy builds as the evening goes on. It starts feeling classy and then slowly shifts into something a little wild (in a good way).
Some people go full glam. Others keep it simple. There’s no dress code — just wear red and lean into it.
It usually ends with a pool party and then dancing at The Manor. And yes, the glitter tunnel is absolutely part of the experience.
If you’re only going all-in one night, make it this one. It’s easily one of the Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages because it’s so uniquely tied to the brand.

I’m not usually a workout-on-vacation type of girl, but Virgin had such cool choices I had to try a few classes.
I did a bike class (my first one ever) and an abs class, and both were legit workouts. Not “light stretching while staring at the ocean.” Actual sweat.
I love my carbs, so this gave me a chance to eat a few extras knowing I burned some calories earlier in the day.
Balance. I believe in balance.

If your sailing stops in Bimini, go to the pool party at the Beach Club.
Float On usually kicks off in the early afternoon, and it’s exactly what you’d want it to be — a DJ, oversized floats in the lagoon-style pool, and a lot of people fully leaning into vacation mode.
It’s wild but exciting. Not chaotic. Just high energy in a fun way.
You can be in the pool, sitting on the edge, or watching from a lounger with your feet in the water. It makes the Beach Club feel like more than just a beach stop.
I wouldn’t skip it.
If you want the full breakdown of how the Beach Club works, what to expect, and how to plan your day, check out my guide to The Beach Club At Bimini (Virgin Voyages): What It's Really Like And How To Do It Right.
If you’re sailing an itinerary with Bimini and thinking about adding excursions, I usually browse Virgin Voyages port tours on GetYourGuide to see what’s available ahead of time. Planning ahead means you don’t miss something you’d actually enjoy.

This is one of my favorite quieter moments on the ship.
Head to The Dock at the back of the boat right before sunset. A lot of times they have a live band playing, so you can enjoy live music, relax in a sun bed, and just watch the sea and the sunset.
Order some mezze, sit back, and slow down for a bit before dinner.
It’s relaxed but still feels special — one of those simple moments that ends up being a highlight. And yes, I’m probably holding a snack.

The Manor actually feels like a real club.
Two levels. Dramatic lighting. That glitter tunnel entrance that makes you smile every time.
Club Caliente was one of my favorite nights there. Latin music, high energy, packed dance floor.
They even offer a Latin dance class before it starts, which I love. You can learn a few moves, laugh a little, and then feel way more confident when the party starts.
It’s super fun and such a fun way to end the night. Definitely one of the Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages if you like to dance and stay out late.
If I’ve learned anything sailing Virgin multiple times, it’s this:
It’s more fun when you try something new or different.
Wear the red. Try the class. Sit for sunset. Eat the scone.
Those are the moments you remember.
And those are the ones I’d absolutely do again.

These are my personal Best Things to Do on Virgin Voyages — the ones I genuinely look forward to every time I board.

Here’s the thing about Curaçao that nobody talks about enough there’s really no bad time to go. 🌤️ Outside the hurricane belt. Mid-80s nearly every day of the year. Colorful buildings no matter what month it is.
But there IS a difference between going in peak season vs. shoulder season, and it shows up in your wallet, your beach chair availability, and how long you’re waiting for a table at dinner.
Full breakdown of every season, what to expect, and when I’d personally go linked in bio.
I wasn’t expecting much. I just needed dinner. 🍽️ Kome ended up being one of the best meals of the entire trip.
Wood-fired everything. A menu that actually makes you read it twice. A vibe in Pietermaai that feels nothing like a tourist restaurant and everything like somewhere locals actually go. I didn’t rush. I didn’t check my phone. I just ate, start to finish, and enjoyed every single second of it.
If you’re in Curaçao and you only have one nice dinner make it this one.

Renting a golf cart in Bimini was genuinely one of the best decisions we made the entire cruise, and if you have a stop there, I cannot recommend it enough.
✨ Off the ship and behind the wheel within minutes
✨ Multiple beaches, food stops, and random pull-offs
✨ Zero tour schedules, zero waiting on strangers
✨ Just the island, at your own pace
Honest caveat: if you prefer a guided experience with everything planned out, a tour might suit you better. But if you like doing your own thing? This is it.
Everything you need to know about renting, where to go, what to budget, and our favorite stops, is linked in bio. 🔗
50 miles from Miami. Feels like a different planet. 🌴
One day in Bimini looks like: golf cart before 9am, Bimini bread still warm from the oven, water so clear it looks fake, and a conch stand where the guy knows everyone’s name.
No itinerary needed. But I made one anyway because that’s just who I am. Linked in bio

If you go to Bimini and don’t get conch salad… what are you even doing? 🐚
I’m not exaggerating when I say this ended up being one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. It’s a local staple, and after talking to enough people on the island, I realized fast, Bahamians have very strong opinions about where to get the best one.
So we made it a mission.
We tracked down the three spots that kept coming up over and over again, and I tried them all so you don’t have to guess.
