If you do one truly special dinner in Dubai, make it Ossiano Dubai. This is not an inexpensive meal, but what youβre paying for is an entire experience from start to finish. If youβre a foodie, this is an absolute must-do in Dubai. Ossiano Dubai review fans arenβt exaggerating when they call this one of the most memorable dining experiences in the city.
Located downstairs inside Ossiano at Atlantis The Palm, the restaurant sits behind massive aquarium walls, so youβre fully immersed underwater while you dine. Fish glide past your table all evening, and the space is quiet, moody, and honestly a little surreal in the best way. The decor leans elegant and ocean-inspired without being overdone, which keeps the focus exactly where it should beβon the food. Iβd recommend booking an earlier seating if you want the closest aquarium views, though truly, most tables have a great sightline.
If youβre staying nearby, itβs worth choosing a hotel close to the Palm so youβre not rushing through the eveningβthis is one of those nights you want to linger. At its core, Ossiano Dubai review moments revolve around the tasting menu. Youβre served a multi-course culinary journey inspired by the ocean and coastal landscapes, with menus that change seasonally to highlight ingredients at their peak. Think modern European fine dining with seafood at the centerβbut done in a way thatβs creative, intentional, and layered.
The main experience is typically a 9- or 10-course tasting menu, often referred to as the Experience Menu. Some seasons also feature shorter variations, like a six-course βSummer of Discoveryβ menu. No matter which version youβre served, every course feels purposeful and thoughtfully composed. This is not seafood for seafoodβs sakeβitβs precise, artistic, and designed to tell a story course by course.

Hereβs the honest part of this Ossiano Dubai review: I do not like seafood. Walking into a seafood-forward fine-dining restaurant made me nervous, especially at this price point. When I saw they offered a vegetarian tasting menu, I was relievedβbut also skeptical. Too many restaurants treat vegetarian menus like an afterthought.
I was very wrong.
The vegetarian tasting menu ended up being one of the most creative, delicious meals Iβve ever had, and it officially landed in my top five meals of all time. I should add that Iβm not vegetarian, and they were happy to swap in a steak for the main courseβwhich was excellent and still felt completely cohesive with the rest of the menu. The entire experience received the same level of care, technique, and presentation as the main tasting menu, which is exactly why it stood out so much.

The evening begins with delicate snacks and canapΓ©s inspired by coastal flavorsβthink seafood bites and oysters with refined garnishes that immediately set the tone. From there, the progression moves from light, refreshing starters into richer, more layered plates as the night goes on.
Around the time of our visit, sample highlights included a primavera pea panna cotta with roasted nuts and fresh greens that felt bright and beautifully balanced; Spanish-inspired mojama paired with heirloom tomatoes and premium tuna; cod fish poached in kombu oil with lime caviar and sea grapes over sauces like chimichurri or peri-peri; and langoustine served with tropical passionfruit jam and crispy accents. Specialty courses throughout the menu may include caviar, seasonal fish, shellfish, or creative amuse-bouche presentations, depending on the season.
Even as someone who avoids seafood, I appreciated how intentional every plate felt. The flavors were layered, the pacing made sense, and nothing felt repetitive or heavy for the sake of being indulgent.

The service at Ossiano deserves its own mention. Every course was presented with intention, and the staff managed to be incredibly polished without ever feeling stiff or uncomfortable. Each dish felt like it represented a different part of the world, which kept the experience engaging rather than overly formal.
By about course four, you definitely start to feel fullβand then they bring out three different breads that you absolutely want to keep eating anyway. This was my Olympics, and yes, I ate all the bread and had seconds. No regrets. Gold Metal.

Dessert and petit fours close out the journey beautifully. I finished with fresh mint teaβand when I say fresh, I mean literal mint leaves. After such a rich meal, it was incredibly refreshing and the perfect way to end the night.
One of my favorite small details? They noticed my dress was black and automatically brought me a black napkin instead of white. Itβs such a small thing, but somehow it made the entire experience feel even more elevated.
The ultimate takeaway from this Ossiano Dubai review is that this isnβt just dinnerβitβs a carefully curated tasting experience where every element works together. Between the setting, creativity, service, and how genuinely memorable the night was, Ossiano is something special, and I would absolutely do it again without hesitation.

Getting to Atlantis is easiest if youβre not relying on taxis all evening. Renting a car makes the timing much less stressful, especially if youβre dining lateβI usually compare options here so Iβm not overpaying or stuck with limited availability. If you want to make a full experience of the area, pairing dinner with an earlier visit to The Lost Chambers Aquarium can be a fun way to stay in the underwater theme; you can book that experience through GetYourGuide ahead of time to avoid lines.

The tulip fields in the Netherlands look exactly like the photos, except the photos donβt capture how massive the color blocks actually are stretching across the countryside. Or the windmills. Or the sheep randomly standing in the middle of everything like they donβt know theyβre in the most photogenic country on earth.
The honest caveat: tulip season moves fast, the fields rotate every year, and peak bloom is not a guarantee, it depends on the weather, the harvest schedule, and a little bit of luck. But thatβs also part of what makes it feel less like a tourist attraction and more like something you actually found.

Amsterdam has a way of making you feel like you need to see everything, and then rewarding you most when you slow down anyway. The museums and canal cruises are worth it, but so is just wandering neighborhoods, eating whatever looks good, and sitting along the canals with a grilled cheese and nowhere to be.

10 stops. One very full day. Zero regrets. Amsterdam has one of the best food scenes Iβve experienced anywhere in Europe, but the honest caveat is that some of the viral spots come with lines that will genuinely test your character. I skipped a few. I regret nothing.
Hereβs what actually made the cut on my self-guided Amsterdam food tour:
Fresh stroopwafels at Hans Egstorf: made right in front of you, warm caramel, no line. This one won.
Lourens cookie croissant: flaky outside, gooey chocolate inside. Did not share.
CafΓ© Winkel 43 apple pie: one of the rare viral places that fully lives up to the hype.
Davieβs Amsterdam for the Lelie sandwich: pastrami, pickles, marbled bread. Deceptively simple. Absolutely excellent.
De Kaaskamer to end the day: 400+ cheeses, grilled cheese with what they call ketchup (itβs not ketchup, and itβs better), and bunker cheese aged in underground military bunkers.
The full route covers 10 stops through Jordaan, the 9 Streets, the canal district, and the flower market area with a Google Map included so you can just follow along.

Thereβs a version of Gatlinburg thatβs all fudge shops and tourist crowds, and then thereβs the version that actually makes you want to come back.
Hereβs everything worth doing downtown, in the order Iβd do it: ποΈ
β¨ Start at @gatlinburgskypark before the crowds hit
β¨ Walk the strip mid-morning when itβs still manageable
β¨ @googooclusters stop (see my post from Tuesday: donβt skip it)
β¨ Dinner at one of the local spots off the main drag
β¨ Wander back out at night when the lights are on and it gets actually pretty
This isnβt your overscheduled Smoky Mountain itinerary. Itβs more of a βhereβs what Iβd actually do if I had one solid dayβ kind of list.

If someone told me Iβd spend five hours at SkyPark, I would not have believed them. And yet. π
Gatlinburg SkyPark sits above the strip and itβs one of those places that looks like a quick stop on paper and turns into most of your afternoon. The SkyBridge alone is worth it β longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, and yes, you will look down.
β¨ SkyBridge (longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America)
β¨ SkyLift ride up with views of the Smokies
β¨ Walking trails with mountain views in every direction
β¨ Way less crowded than downtown
Fair warning: if heights genuinely freak you out, the bridge might not be your thing. The rest of the park is still 100% worth it. Full guide with tickets, tips, and what to skip linked in bio. π
