Dreamy Antigua Honeymoon Guide: Best Beaches, Resorts & Romantic Spots

If you’re dreaming of an Antigua honeymoon where the ocean looks Photoshopped…(spoiler: it’s not) and the vibe is all about romance, Antigua is calling. This little Caribbean gem is famous for having 365 beachesβ€”yes, one for every day of the yearβ€”but some are extra perfect for couples looking for honeymoon magic. Whether you’re planning lazy mornings in the sand, adventurous afternoons exploring, or sunset dinners with that just-married glow, Antigua delivers.

Antigua honeymoon sunset at Devils BridgeLong Bay Beach + Devil’s Bridge: Calm Meets Drama on Your Antigua Honeymoon

This was my personal favorite beach, and for good reason. As you drive in, there’s a colorful mural on the left side of the roadβ€”yes, I made Brad stop for a picture because, well, Instagram. Parking here is free and easy (there’s a small dirt pull-off just steps from the sand). The water is calm, clear, and straight out of a honeymoon brochure. You can rent loungers and spend the morning floating together like it’s your full-time job.

Just minutes away is Devil’s Bridge, where the Atlantic waves crash dramatically against natural limestone arches. It’s not a place to swim (too dangerous), but it’s definitely a spot for stunning photos. Hold onto each otherβ€”literallyβ€”and let the sea spray add the special effects.

Antigua honeymoon sunset at Half Moon BayHalf Moon Bay: Two Antigua Honeymoon Vibes in One

This crescent-shaped beauty is basically a split personality in the best way. One side is all about big waves and adventure (think surfing couples), while the other side is calm and perfect for snorkeling hand-in-hand. For lunch, wander up to Beach Bum Bar & CafΓ© where time slows down (β€œCaribbean time” they call it), but the food is worth the wait. Order the burger and sweet potato fries or the wrapβ€”honeymoon calories don’t count, right?

Bonus tip: Head toward the rocky edges where you’ll find golden clay locals swear by for natural spa masks. Smear it on, dry in the sun, and voilΓ β€”DIY honeymoon glow.

For honeymooners who love to explore, this Antigua One Week Itinerary offers the perfect mix of adventure and downtime.

Antigua honeymoon beach at Galleon BeachGalleon Beach + The Pillars of Hercules: Adventure for Two

If you and your new spouse want a mix of relaxation and β€œwe actually hiked on our honeymoon” bragging rights, this is the spot. Start at Galleon Beach, a quiet curve of sand where snorkeling often includes sea turtles gliding by like underwater wedding guests. Then, take the short but scrambly trail around the rocks to reach the Pillars of Herculesβ€”massive limestone columns that look like nature designed its own cathedral. Bring good shoes, not flip-flops (learn from me). The views are worth every step.

Afterward, drive to English Harbour for a celebratory meal. Catherine’s CafΓ© is chic and French-Caribbean (ideal for toasting your honeymoon), while Cloggy’s has Mediterranean plates with marina views.

Beach lovers, don’t skip my Best Beaches in Antigua guideβ€”it’s practically a honeymoon checklist.

Antigua honeymoon sunset at Jolly BeachJolly Harbour + Jolly Beach: Sunsets Made for Two

Honeymoons are for long walks and sunset swoons, and Jolly Beach nails both. It’s one of the island’s widest stretches of sand, so you’ll never feel crowded, and the water stays shallow and calm. Right next door is Jolly Harbour, where yachts bob in the marina and the restaurants make for perfect date-night dinners. Stick around until the sky turns cotton candy pinkβ€”it’s honeymoon perfection.

Sandals Grande Antigua: All-Inclusive Romance

If you’re looking for a resort that lets you slip into honeymoon mode the second you arrive, Sandals Grande Antigua is it. Located right on Dickenson Bay (often called the best beach on the island), this adults-only, all-inclusive resort is made for couples.

The beach-entry pool is my personal favorite spotβ€”it’s shallow enough to lounge but big enough to swim. Foodies will love that you can bounce from Italian at Mario’s to toes-in-the-sand dining at Barefoot. And don’t miss a night at OK Corral, where the Mexican food is actually fantastic. Order the dessert La Media Lunaβ€”it’s so good I may have snuck out just to bring one back to the room.

For the extra-romantic touch, splurge on Club Level or Butler Level. Imagine champagne on arrival, private check-ins, and your butler reserving you a beachfront lounger. Yes, it’s as dreamy as it sounds. If you’re considering an all-inclusive resort, my Sandals Grande Antigua Review gives an honest look at the island’s most popular couples’ getaway.

Final Thoughts: Why Antigua Is Honeymoon Heaven

Antigua is one of those destinations where every corner feels like a postcard, but it’s the mix of calm beaches, adventurous day trips, and incredible resorts that makes it perfect for honeymoons. Whether you’re slathering golden clay on each other at Half Moon Bay, clinking glasses at Shirley Heights as the sun dips, or just counting stars from your balcony at Sandals, this island knows how to do romance.

Pretty? Absolutely. Perfect for your honeymoon? Even more so.

If someone told me I’d spend five hours at SkyPark, I would not have believed them. And yet. πŸ˜…

Gatlinburg SkyPark sits above the strip and it’s one of those places that looks like a quick stop on paper and turns into most of your afternoon. The SkyBridge alone is worth it β€” longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, and yes, you will look down.

✨ SkyBridge (longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America)
✨ SkyLift ride up with views of the Smokies
✨ Walking trails with mountain views in every direction
✨ Way less crowded than downtown

Fair warning: if heights genuinely freak you out, the bridge might not be your thing. The rest of the park is still 100% worth it. Full guide with tickets, tips, and what to skip linked in bio. πŸ”—
I walked into Goo Goo Cluster in downtown Gatlinburg thinking I’d spend five minutes and leave with a small piece of candy. I was wrong on both counts. πŸ˜…

You build your own chocolate cluster at a kiosk: caramel, sea salt, pretzels, cocoa pebbles, you name it, and then watch them make it right in front of you. The whole thing takes about 15 minutes and costs $15.

The caveat? This is not a snack. This is a full-size brick of chocolate that I was still eating two days later.

If you’re already walking the Gatlinburg strip, this is an easy yes. Especially if you have absolutely no self-control around caramel. (Asking for a friend.) Full experience breakdown linked in bio. πŸ”—
Your Knoxville Airport survival guide, from someone who’s flown through TYS 100+ times is now up on my blogπŸ›«

Parking, TSA wait times, where to grab food before your flight, rental cars, all of it, from someone who actually knows this airport. No guessing, no googling at the last minute.

TYS is small, easy to navigate, and honestly one of the less stressful airports I’ve been through. You just need to know a few things going in.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a global charity event, classic and vintage bikes, dressed-up riders, raising money for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. The bikes are stunning. The outfits are even better.

Went in for Italian. Left thinking about pasta for three days straight.🍝

Osteria Stella in Knoxville is THE date night spot, pink door, moody lighting, and a radiatori con broccoli pesto that I would genuinely go back for alone. The lasagna comes out as its own perfect slice with crispy edges all around. The focaccia with garlic confit disappeared before anyone admitted to eating it.

Make a reservation. Order the pasta. Thank me later.
