If youβre dreaming of an Antigua honeymoon where the ocean looks Photoshoppedβ¦(spoiler: itβs not) and the vibe is all about romance, Antigua is calling. This little Caribbean gem is famous for having 365 beachesβyes, one for every day of the yearβbut some are extra perfect for couples looking for honeymoon magic. Whether youβre planning lazy mornings in the sand, adventurous afternoons exploring, or sunset dinners with that just-married glow, Antigua delivers.
This was my personal favorite beach, and for good reason. As you drive in, thereβs a colorful mural on the left side of the roadβyes, I made Brad stop for a picture because, well, Instagram. Parking here is free and easy (thereβs a small dirt pull-off just steps from the sand). The water is calm, clear, and straight out of a honeymoon brochure. You can rent loungers and spend the morning floating together like itβs your full-time job.
Just minutes away is Devilβs Bridge, where the Atlantic waves crash dramatically against natural limestone arches. Itβs not a place to swim (too dangerous), but itβs definitely a spot for stunning photos. Hold onto each otherβliterallyβand let the sea spray add the special effects.
This crescent-shaped beauty is basically a split personality in the best way. One side is all about big waves and adventure (think surfing couples), while the other side is calm and perfect for snorkeling hand-in-hand. For lunch, wander up to Beach Bum Bar & CafΓ© where time slows down (βCaribbean timeβ they call it), but the food is worth the wait. Order the burger and sweet potato fries or the wrapβhoneymoon calories donβt count, right?
Bonus tip: Head toward the rocky edges where youβll find golden clay locals swear by for natural spa masks. Smear it on, dry in the sun, and voilΓ βDIY honeymoon glow.
For honeymooners who love to explore, this Antigua One Week Itinerary offers the perfect mix of adventure and downtime.
Galleon Beach + The Pillars of Hercules: Adventure for TwoIf you and your new spouse want a mix of relaxation and βwe actually hiked on our honeymoonβ bragging rights, this is the spot. Start at Galleon Beach, a quiet curve of sand where snorkeling often includes sea turtles gliding by like underwater wedding guests. Then, take the short but scrambly trail around the rocks to reach the Pillars of Herculesβmassive limestone columns that look like nature designed its own cathedral. Bring good shoes, not flip-flops (learn from me). The views are worth every step.
Afterward, drive to English Harbour for a celebratory meal. Catherineβs CafΓ© is chic and French-Caribbean (ideal for toasting your honeymoon), while Cloggyβs has Mediterranean plates with marina views.
Beach lovers, donβt skip my Best Beaches in Antigua guideβitβs practically a honeymoon checklist.
Honeymoons are for long walks and sunset swoons, and Jolly Beach nails both. Itβs one of the islandβs widest stretches of sand, so youβll never feel crowded, and the water stays shallow and calm. Right next door is Jolly Harbour, where yachts bob in the marina and the restaurants make for perfect date-night dinners. Stick around until the sky turns cotton candy pinkβitβs honeymoon perfection.
If youβre looking for a resort that lets you slip into honeymoon mode the second you arrive, Sandals Grande Antigua is it. Located right on Dickenson Bay (often called the best beach on the island), this adults-only, all-inclusive resort is made for couples.
The beach-entry pool is my personal favorite spotβitβs shallow enough to lounge but big enough to swim. Foodies will love that you can bounce from Italian at Marioβs to toes-in-the-sand dining at Barefoot. And donβt miss a night at OK Corral, where the Mexican food is actually fantastic. Order the dessert La Media Lunaβitβs so good I may have snuck out just to bring one back to the room.
For the extra-romantic touch, splurge on Club Level or Butler Level. Imagine champagne on arrival, private check-ins, and your butler reserving you a beachfront lounger. Yes, itβs as dreamy as it sounds. If youβre considering an all-inclusive resort, my Sandals Grande Antigua Review gives an honest look at the islandβs most popular couplesβ getaway.
Antigua is one of those destinations where every corner feels like a postcard, but itβs the mix of calm beaches, adventurous day trips, and incredible resorts that makes it perfect for honeymoons. Whether youβre slathering golden clay on each other at Half Moon Bay, clinking glasses at Shirley Heights as the sun dips, or just counting stars from your balcony at Sandals, this island knows how to do romance.
Pretty? Absolutely. Perfect for your honeymoon? Even more so.

The tulip fields in the Netherlands are one of those things that looks exactly like the photos, except the photos donβt capture how massive the color blocks actually are stretching across the countryside. Or the windmills. Or the sheep randomly standing in the middle of everything like they donβt know theyβre in the most photogenic country on earth.
The honest caveat: tulip season moves fast, the fields rotate every year, and peak bloom is not a guarantee, it depends on the weather, the harvest schedule, and a little bit of luck. But thatβs also part of what makes it feel less like a tourist attraction and more like something you actually found.

Amsterdam has a way of making you feel like you need to see everything, and then rewarding you most when you slow down anyway. The museums and canal cruises are worth it, but so is just wandering neighborhoods, eating whatever looks good, and sitting along the canals with a grilled cheese and nowhere to be.

10 stops. One very full day. Zero regrets. Amsterdam has one of the best food scenes Iβve experienced anywhere in Europe, but the honest caveat is that some of the viral spots come with lines that will genuinely test your character. I skipped a few. I regret nothing.
Hereβs what actually made the cut on my self-guided Amsterdam food tour:
Fresh stroopwafels at Hans Egstorf: made right in front of you, warm caramel, no line. This one won.
Lourens cookie croissant: flaky outside, gooey chocolate inside. Did not share.
CafΓ© Winkel 43 apple pie: one of the rare viral places that fully lives up to the hype.
Davieβs Amsterdam for the Lelie sandwich: pastrami, pickles, marbled bread. Deceptively simple. Absolutely excellent.
De Kaaskamer to end the day: 400+ cheeses, grilled cheese with what they call ketchup (itβs not ketchup, and itβs better), and bunker cheese aged in underground military bunkers.
The full route covers 10 stops through Jordaan, the 9 Streets, the canal district, and the flower market area with a Google Map included so you can just follow along.

Thereβs a version of Gatlinburg thatβs all fudge shops and tourist crowds, and then thereβs the version that actually makes you want to come back.
Hereβs everything worth doing downtown, in the order Iβd do it: ποΈ
β¨ Start at @gatlinburgskypark before the crowds hit
β¨ Walk the strip mid-morning when itβs still manageable
β¨ @googooclusters stop (see my post from Tuesday: donβt skip it)
β¨ Dinner at one of the local spots off the main drag
β¨ Wander back out at night when the lights are on and it gets actually pretty
This isnβt your overscheduled Smoky Mountain itinerary. Itβs more of a βhereβs what Iβd actually do if I had one solid dayβ kind of list.

If someone told me Iβd spend five hours at SkyPark, I would not have believed them. And yet. π
Gatlinburg SkyPark sits above the strip and itβs one of those places that looks like a quick stop on paper and turns into most of your afternoon. The SkyBridge alone is worth it β longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, and yes, you will look down.
β¨ SkyBridge (longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America)
β¨ SkyLift ride up with views of the Smokies
β¨ Walking trails with mountain views in every direction
β¨ Way less crowded than downtown
Fair warning: if heights genuinely freak you out, the bridge might not be your thing. The rest of the park is still 100% worth it. Full guide with tickets, tips, and what to skip linked in bio. π
